I will be raising funds for the the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) as SCS's first Mountaineering Charity Athlete! I am aiming to raise $20,000 for the SCS!
The Singapore Cancer Society is an independent voluntary welfare organisation. We are self-funded, receiving no funding from the Community Chest or National Council of Social Service. We depend on public contributions and support to carry on the good work for cancer patients and the community at large.
Every year, we organise several fundraising projects to cover our expenses. With regular and continued corporate, philanthropic and public support, we are able to ensure that critical welfare services are not disrupted.
