Logistical Costs of climbing everest
The climb of Mount Everest is at least a sixty-day journey, either through Tibet or Nepal. It takes a tremendous logistical effort to climb Mount Everest, which includes (among many other items):

Because of the high cost, I am seeking sponsors and supporters to help my expedition to achieve its goals. Corporations may agree to sponsor the climb in exchange for advertising their products and for live presentations and slideshows before or after expedition as detailed in this sponsorship package.

- A climbing permit from the Government of Nepal
- Full Everest Expedition from Tibet ($60,000)
- Preparatory Climbs to 8000m peaks in Tibet and Broad Peak ($35,000)
- Airfare and excess baggage ($800-1200)
- Nepal Visa ($100)
- Bottled oxygen above 8,000 meters
- Medical kit ($1,000)
- Rescue Insurance ($600)
- Personal Gear (down suit, high altitude boots, etc)
- Satellite phone ($1,000 to $3,000 depending on usage)
- Summit allowance for Sherpas ($4,000 - $5000)
